Prayagraj/Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has signed a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ICICI Bank to simplify and secure the payment process for the upcoming Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2026.
The agreement was formalized at the Commission’s office in Allen Ganj, Prayagraj, in the presence of senior officials. The MoU was signed by the Commission Secretary and bank representatives, with Commission Chairman Dr. Prashant Kumar and ICICI Bank’s Regional Head Samit Vijay overseeing the formal exchange.
Under this partnership, ICICI Bank will provide an advanced digital payment solution through its “EasyPay Classic” gateway. This integration will enable candidates applying for TET-2026 to pay their registration fees in a faster, more secure, and seamless manner.
Dr. Prashant Kumar described the initiative as a major step toward ensuring transparency, efficiency, and security in the application process. “This collaboration will simplify the payment system for candidates while promoting digital transactions,” he said.

To ensure smooth implementation, the bank has appointed a dedicated coordination manager to work closely with the Commission. Additionally, a dedicated helpdesk facility has been introduced to assist candidates with payment-related issues such as transaction failures or delays.
The support center will be operational from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM via both landline and mobile, ensuring prompt resolution of grievances and a hassle-free experience for applicants.
The initiative is expected to significantly enhance the overall application process for TET-2026, benefiting thousands of aspiring teachers across Uttar Pradesh.
